The new system has the latest databases for Australia and New Zealand.
These are analytical databases used by nutritionists.
We plan to amend them to have matched brand foods which they do not have yet.
The database is using the current AUSNUT 2013 database http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/science/monitoringnutrients/ausnut/ausnutdatafiles/Pages/foodnutrient.aspx
Please vote for a new custom database if you are referring to having better names and brand foods as the government database is not changeable. The government database is the same used in the Australian health surveys and although feels clunky is the most accurate.
I apologise for any delay in support.
Great idea this is a very common food now! It is going to have to be in our upcoming custom database not this one as this is a set government AUSNUT 2007 database. You can also add it yourself as a custom food like this blog shows https://foodzone.com.au/blog/2014/02/new-custom-food-feature-and-more
Will definitely add it to the next database we create so thanks for the vote :)
You can now access and edit client diaries from the web version of the new system.
We are currently making a mobile app to share with clients but for now you can use the web app that works on a phone.
We still need all the brand foods for foodzone to be less analytical for nutritionists and more tracker based for clients.AdminFood Zone Support (CEO / Founder, foodzone) supported this idea ·
Great idea. We have in the pipe works the ability to share access with your client and a mobile app for the clients would be great as it is a bit clunky on a smart phone at the moment.
With individual preferences!
