Include an option to clear search history
It would be good to be able to clear the entire history and also be able to just remove single items from the history.

Provide an option to setting targets for "food groups" as well
It would make it very easy to quickly see, in general lines, the balance of a daily diet (or meal plan, or single meal, or single food), according to the Australian Dietary Guidelines.

I suggest that when you enter a custom food it becomes an option for all your patients from then on.
When you enter a custom food it should be available for you to use with any client after that rather than having to re-enter it for every client.

Make estimated energy surplus or deficits part of the reports
We are entering the details for a client’s weight, height, energy expenditure etc, but I don’t see this data used anywhere that is useful in the reports. Perhaps it would be worth comparing the EER to the total kj consumed to note a relative energy deficit or surplus?

Make it easy to see which foods consumed were highest in certain nutrients
It would great to be able to ‘reverse engineer’ the data. Eg which foods contributed to your intake of 65mcg of iodine (in order from most to least).

Make the nutrient breakdown for individual foods available
With the Database I’d love to be able to see the nutrient breakdown for individual foods. Sometimes it’s hard to know if you have an equivalent food if you can’t see the nutrient content. Eg for a whey protein powder that has 60g of protein per 100g vs a powder that has 90g of protein per 100g.

A 'notes' space under each meal on the food page
To be used to make a note of food items eaten that aren't included in the database yet and also to keep a log of the clients mood/digestion/energy level etc., or any other notes that might be helpful. Thank you!

insert the clients name when exporting a report.
When exporting a report it would make it easier to default name the report to "Client X Nutrient Report" or "Client X Food Report" etc.
